Decent Japanese style bento boxes w/ beef/fried chicken bowls. A mom and pop place in Artesia with a very, very small storefront, so you might just miss it if you're not looking close enough! Super friendly and kind family that runs the place - since their staff is limited, they may ask you to wait in your car and will bring you your food to go whenever it's ready. There isn't any seating area inside so it's to-go only. Selection is very standard gyudon and katsu don style Japanese bento boxes. Flavors are solid and tasty. The portion size is a bit small and I wish there was more rice and topping for the cost. Prices are a bit on the higher side. Parking is limited and slightly hard to access in the adjacent lot, so be careful when pulling in and pulling out - lots of cross-traffic. Recommended if you're looking for a light and healthy-ish meal.

Support small business! Their food are simple but delicious. Staffs has always been friendly. After you ordered, they will bring food out to you at the parking lot. Take out only. The only thing I have to say is their chicken karage a little salty. Maybe the restaurant can have the option to adjust the salt. Spam musabi are bigger size than most restaurant. Wrapped is not around as some other reviews in the past but for $3.5 can't beat the price.

Been here twice and food was delicious both times. There is no seating inside, only take out. This is right next to the Dominos and in a corner plaza with limited but high turn over parking. In both visits I got the (beef) Gyu Yakiniku Bento, it's just that amazing. There is a layer of marinated and cooked small beef pieces on top of a thin layer of cabbage on top of layer of rice. It also comes with red and yellow picked vegetables. The beef has robust flavor, it truly carries the dish. The cabbage brings a nice crispy crunch to the dish, and the rice is appropriately cooked and increases the volume. I have tried and liked both the Tamago (egg) and Ebi (shrimp) musubi. The egg has a large rectangular piece with sesame oil and some source of sweetness. Very good and my preferred Musubi, also popular among kids. Unfortunately they do sell out of it, but I ask about it every time. The Ebi (shrimp) musubi has two long breaded and fried shrimp. These are made fresh so it was very hot and I had to give it some time to cool down. The breading is thin while still very crunchy, good sized shrimp, would get again.

Their karaage is surprisingly one of the best I've ever had! Extremely nice lady who walked out to the street to bring me the food, even though I told her I was going for a walk and would come back in 10minutes,

Great service, they even bring it to your car if you are waiting. I ordered the spicy tuna musubi and the gyu beef bento. And they were delicious and great portion. The red stuff with the beef bento was super good. I'll have to ask for extra next time. A little in the pricey side, but I'll spend the money on a small place like this over somewhere like Yoshinoya. $19 for both.

It is a small, "hole-in-the-wall" take-out place for Japanese food. Service is professional, and worth trying.

I've lived in this area my whole life and for some reason never tried this place until recently, and I have no idea why. This mom & pop shop is a staple of this area - they have a small and simple menu, but everything is high quality. Their karaage is some of the best I've ever tried, it's so light, crispy, and juicy. The owners are so nice and friendly, and they have their kids playing in the back while they cook. If you want something quick, simple, and also yummy on weekdays, this is the place to go.
